The movement of thought from reward to punishment is what we call time, our movement from pleasure to pain is always measured by us and this importance of getting the reward and moving away from punishment is what we measure as time. As Einstein said "If you spend an hour with a beautiful girl it feels like an minute and if you keep your hands on a frying pan for an minute it feels like an hour"! Thats the theory of relativity of time and space and it does not exists out side our rewards and punishments.
There is no time outside of our thoughts!
